This recognition matters to us, not because of a title, but because of

and without recognition.
We know that we did not get here alone.
We stand on the shoulders of women who came before us.
Women who fought for opportunity.
Women who created space.
Women who believed that lifting others was the truest form of
leadership.
Every day, we see this same strength in the women we work alongside
in Guatemala.
Mothers sewing garden towers.
Women leading nutrition programs.
Girls dreaming of university.
This work has always been about women supporting women, across
borders and generations.
