Oct 25 – Nov 5, 2026 – itinerary
Day 1 — Saturday (10/25)— Upon landing at Guatemala City Airport (GUA), our private driver and bus will whisk us away to the village of San Andrés, located near the breathtaking Lake Atitlan. After settling into our accommodations, we’ll come together for our first group dinner, enjoying delicious local cuisine and preparing for the incredible journey ahead.
Day 2 — Sunday (10/27)— After a hearty breakfast, we’ll walk the quaint streets of San Andrés as we begin our community projects. We will spend the day volunteering and getting to know the area and its rich culture. In the afternoon, we’ll head to stunning Lake Atitlan to soak in the vibrant town of Panajachel and its unforgettable sunset views.
Day 3 — Monday (10/28)— After breakfast, we’ll dive into our work by volunteering within the community. We will continue working on our projects until dinner time.
Day 4 — Tuesday (10/29)— After our group breakfast we’ll visit the bustling local market to purchase groceries for our families in need. This day will include delivering much-needed donations and visiting families, building meaningful connections along the way.
Day 5 — Wednesday (10/30)— Another fulfilling day awaits as we volunteer within the community, continuing our donation deliveries and family visits. After school we’ll volunteer at an English school, working alongside the children to improve their English skills. After English classes we’ll host a community activity—soccer, kite flying, swimming, and more—creating joyful memories together.
Day 6 — Thursday (10/31)— Today we’ll spend time building garden towers, delivering donations, and supporting local families. After lunch, we’ll volunteer at our English classes, working alongside the children. As the day comes to a close, we’ll say heartfelt goodbyes to our community.
Day 7 — Friday (Nov 1)— In the morning, we’ll experience the colorful All Saints Day Celebration, marveling at the vibrant, giant kites soaring in the sky. After soaking in this unique and bustling cultural event, we’ll journey to the picturesque black sand beach where we will catch our first sunset over the Pacific ocean. *Download a movie or have your book handy, we will be in the bus for 4 hours.
Day 8 — Saturday (Nov 2)— Following a good night’s sleep and a delightful breakfast, we’ll head to the beach for an unforgettable experience—releasing baby turtles into the ocean! Spend the day enjoying the beautiful black sand beach, swimming, or relaxing by the pools. Later, we’ll set out on a kayak through the mangroves and share delicious food together.
Day 9 — Sunday (Nov 3)— All those interested will wake at sunrise for a spectacular boat ride through the mangroves. Following a restful night and a delicious breakfast, we’ll head to the beach for our last day —releasing baby turtles into the ocean! It’s magical! Spend the day enjoying the beautiful black sand beach, swimming, or relaxing by the pools.
Day 10 — Monday (Nov 4)— After breakfast we will pack up for our drive to Antigua. Here, we’ll take a walking tour of this fantastic city, enjoy sunset views from a scenic overlook, and enjoy our final group dinner together. Keep your eyes open for breathtaking vistas of Volcán de Fuego, Volcán de Agua, and Volcán de Acatenango.
Day 11— Tuesday (Nov 5)— After a delicious Guatemalan breakfast, we will make our way to the airport, concluding this memorable journey.
